MEET THE WEBMASTER

Hello to all my special World Airways and FAA friends. Most of us who worked for World Airways consider that to be a unique experience, one that fostered many great friendships and experiences. The camaraderie among employees was very special and made us feel we are all part of a very special family. For me many of those friendships were established through the classroom as I taught the Flight Crew, Flight Attendant, Passenger Service, Maintenance and Management courses. Other friendships resulted through my contacts with agencies such as the FAA or through my travels. The experiences we had traveling the world over were second to none. Often it took us to places we and our friends seldom heard of such as Bamako,Mali; Bangkok, Thailand; Yokoto, Japan;Kadina ,Okinawa; Darwin, Australia; Kuala Lumpur ,Malaysia; Juddah, Saudi Arabia; Da Nang, Vietnam, etc. We often avoided telling some of those experiences to our friends or acquaintances because we thought they would either think we made them up or were bragging. But those of us that did experience them know the truth and we can share them with each other.

My motive for creating this web site is to keep our unique World Airways "family" together; to provide a resource for maintaining contact with our many friends worldwide; to provide information and updated news about many of the activities that occur such as reunions, luncheons, transitions, etc. This is your web site and I encourage you to use it to "stay in touch" with your special WOA friends.
