The Year 2009 World Airways Reunion was a great success.  There were 58 of our WOA family members that turned out for the special fun in the sun. The accommodations at the  Orleans Hotel & Casino were excellent as was the wide variety of restaurant choices.  The time spent chatting around the tables in the Board Room was great with many of those special stories shared. The Last Flight From Danang  Vietnam video was especially enjoyed since two of the crew from that flight, Captain Ken Healy and First Officer Glenn Flansas were present to answer questions of the historic moment. Also video from the Oakland 2008 and Las Vegas 2007 Reunions were also shown.  The banquet night was very colorful with a floral arrangement on each table with a World Airways model aircrft model included.  Each  aircraft  model was hand painted by Kitty Hitch. Host Lyman Hitch and his hostess wife Kitty are to be commended on putting to gether another very successful reunion. Our special thanks to them and also Nancy Peppin who provided the important mailing list and labels. Watch for details on the next World Airways Reunion in Oakland later in 2010.
